Dancewear Guidelines

Required Footwear

  • Ballet: Pink Ballet shoes

  • Jazz: Nude Jazz shoes

  • Lyrical: Nude Half-soles

  • Hip Hop: Black sneakers

  • Acro: Barefoot

  • Tap: Tap Shoes (tan or black velcro up to age 7, age 7 and older, black lace up tap shoes)

Dancers should wear fitted dancewear that allows for safe movement and proper instruction. For safety, street clothes, including jeans, skirts, and dresses, are not permitted in class. Hair must be securely pulled back and out of the dancer’s face for all classes.

Any color leotard paired with tan or pink tights & fitted shorts or ballet skirt. A ballet sweater or leg warms may be worn. Pink ballet shoes
