Miss Ally Novella

Miss Ally has been dancing since the age of 3. She began her dance training in Danbury, CT, where she studied various styles, including tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip-hop. In addition to her studio training, she was cast in numerous school theater productions and earned the title of “Dance Captain” in multiple shows.

After graduating from high school, she attended Western Connecticut State University’s School of Visual and Performing Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design in May 2020. While at WestConn, she was a member of the WestConn Dance Team, serving as “Captain” in her third and fourth years. She performed at local events, as well as at football and basketball games. Ally also had the incredible opportunity to attend UDA (Universal Dance Association) Spirit Camps and compete with her team at the UDA College Nationals in Orlando, FL, for three consecutive years, competing in pom, jazz, and gameday categories. Since graduating, she has continued her involvement with the WestConn Dance Team as an assistant coach.

When she is not dancing, Ally works as a graphic designer and has collaborated with brands such as Nickelodeon, Scholastic, and Mead Five Star, among others.

Ally is delighted to be teaching at LDC and is excited to share her passion and dance knowledge with the next generation of dancers.
