One parent or guardian must meet dancers at the security table. For safety, Legacy staff will only dismiss dancers to recognized adults. Please ensure our staff is familiar with the person picking up your dancer.
Videos and Photos are NOT allowed to be taken during the show, it is a copyright violation. Every dancer will be provided the video of the show in June, once the video is edited by the
production company!
Please do not enter or exit the auditorium while there are dancers on stage. This is distracting to the dancers and the audience. Please wait until the dance is completed to enter or exit.
Cell phones must be turned off or put on silent during the recital.
There is no food or drink allowed in the auditorium
-
No food or drink should be brought into the dressing room except disposable water bottles. Only dancers, backstage volunteers, & Legacy staff are permitted backstage & in dressing rooms during shows. -
Makeup-dancers should wear foundation and concealer to match their skin tone (contour optional), eyeshadows in light brown or neutral colors, black eyeliner, black mascara on top lashes, red lipstick, and a light touch of highlighter. Finish with setting spray to hold makeup in place!
Hair- Tiny Dancers and Intro to Dance dancers should pull hair straight back into a high bun on the crown of the head, use a hair net to secure the bun and prevent flyaways. All other dancers should part their hair down the center and slick it back into a low ponytail at the nape of the neck. Use an elastic that matches the dancer’s hair color, plenty of gel or hairspray and a soft-bristled brush. The ponytail itself should be neat- straightened, curled or natural hair texture all are fine. Hair should be secured with an elastic that matches the dancer’s hair color or a clear rubber band.
